Music
As an artist I've been selling music to everyone I can including MTV, CmT, NFB and lots other three letter companies. With Eventide we released a CD that charted nationally, received airplay on eighty stations across Canada and had a video on Much Music along with decent reviews in the mainstream music press. Not long after that, I decided to write music full time and make my living selling music. 550 original recordings later :-) I thought it would be a good idea to play live...
That is when I finally found my musical soulmates in FUSE...
This is a video we are working on called KARMA from our new CD.
Production Credits Jimmy Page, Daniel Lanois, Bob Rock and Bruce Fairbarn are just some of the producers that I've had the opportunity to see in the studio. The skill to produce a great performance is a learned art. There are shortcuts to "getting there" that are learned from watching the best work. Ambiance and atmosphere are only one of the tools the producer arsenal. Being able to get in the performers head is another. I've spent my life learning what it takes to capture feeling and emotion in a recording enviroment.
Engineer Sam Roberts, Swollen Members, Default, Finger Eleven, Billy Talent, Hawksley Workman... I can efficently handle any session, in any studio, with an SSL, Protools or a razor blade. Lending a hand, engineering sessions with Jimmy Page and Coverdale, AC/DC, Bob Rock taught me how to mix and record guitars. Seeing Daniel Lanois producing The Tragically Hip and Midnight Oil was one of the pivotal experiences of my career. I have also worked on more then 40 films including The Edge, Deep Impact, Romeo & Juliet, FUBAR among others.
